The AI agent

The AI agent is part of Pro. On /code, describe what to build: the project is created at once, its conversation opens in the sidebar in place of the project list, and the files appear as the agent writes them. The back arrow in the conversation's header returns to the project list.

Each project can have many conversations. They are listed under the project in the project list; "New conversation" starts another, and the title menu in a conversation switches between them or deletes one.

The agent reads and writes the project's text files. Everything one reply writes is saved together when the reply ends — including when it is stopped with the stop button. A message waits until edits in the editor have been saved, so the agent never works on an older copy.

Instructions for the agent can be kept in the project's .agents/ folder, for example .agents/AGENTS.md: the agent reads them, and the preview and shared page ignore the folder.

Each month includes an allowance of agent tokens; Account → AI usage shows what is left and where it went. The part of a long conversation served from the cache does not count.
